Question About Brother Sewing Machine brother riviera 1781
threading bobber an needle...

iam a frist time user of any sewing machine and am trying to self teach but am to confused as to where every thing goes let alone how to thread the bobber and needle properly its a brother Riviera 1781 model f please help thank you

0 Well did you figure it out? I just bought on used and it reminds me of my grandma's old machine. I sew a few things on that one. So you fit the bobbin in the holder and leave about 4 inches of thread hanging. Thin you hand turn the big wheel and the needle goes down, then turns the bobbin casing and grabs the thread. When it comes up the thread is attached the already threaded needle thread. Does that help? My name is Deborah
