please help. how do you change the tension on the underneath of the the sewing. it is loose

0 the lower tension is modified by a small screw on the bobbin case. The thread should not run freely when you hold the bobbin in the bobbin case by the thread. Just turn the screw a quarter turn at a time until you h ave it right.
