0 I have this same unit and the manual we got with it isn't a "book" manual but a 2-sided 11"x17" page of small print titled "User's Manual." It's for the Model 86RAC "AC powered Ionization Smoke Detector With Battery Back-Up." BRK has downloadable manuals on their website but I don't see this model listed - they might only show current/recent models and ours was installed 14 yrs ago. If you send me an email to vsamarti@hotmail.com with your name/address, I can xerox a copy of mine and mail it to you.
