I have two BRK models 1769ACI in my home...approximately 27 years old. Both have gone off today for no reason. short beeps and then sounded for 5 minutes, then off, hour later short burst, etc. What could be the causes of this?

0 do they sound like a loud buzzer ?, i have the same issue

0 Try vacuuming out the smoke alarm. There could be dust inside the sensor fooling the detector into thinking it's smoke.
