I have 4 BRK 1839 ACI. They are 3 wire 120 AC detectors that set off all the house alarms and call my security company via my GE Security Concord 4 Series controller. I am having trouble finding a replacement for my 4 BRK detectors that will replace my current system as is. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Gerry Tower. 0 Hi! The best smoke alarm replacement for these BRK 1839 units would be the 7010B. It is photoelectric, and has a battery backup in case of a power outage. I collect these old alarms, and I know that you should not throw them away in the trash because the ionization types contain radioactive material.
