5 I have been a plumber for 37 years and the exact temperature of each setting may very according to the year of manufacture for the tank but these should be close The highest setting on these tanks is 165 degrees, A should be the "vacation" setting of around 100 degrees and B should be the factory recommended setting of 120-125 depending on the year of the tank.
