Question About Bradford-White Corp Water Heater MI80R6DS13-131
Water temp extremely hot...

I have noticed that the Hot water temp becomes extremely hot before tripping the sensor in the heater. I have replaced both elements twice within the last year. Heater operates fine then within 6-8 months ame problem occurs? I can't believe that the elements are defective this soon. Model is 80 Gallon and maybe 8 years old? Thank you!

0 I have the same water heater and the same problem. About every 6 months the thing overheats and then trips. Tried adjusting the temperature and it doesn't matter. Trying to determine what the solution is but it seems like it would be the thermostat. anyone have any ideas on where to get parts or possible causes.
