Was cleaning out the shower in the basement that we haven't used in the 10 years since we've been in the house. The pressure relief valve opened on the hot water tank and was running slow. I went up stairs and an hour later the water was flowing heavily and the tank was fired up and, well making hot water. I shut off the pilot, turned off the gas, unplugged the vent fan and also shut off the water feed to the tank. I can't find the manual tonight, but I will look more tomorrow morning. Any suggestions or tips woujld be greatly appreciated. Jim jfmatthews@bex.net
