Question About Black & Decker Electric Heater BDCH200C
not working...

neither the heater or the fan will come on. Pwr and Caution lights are on, Caution light comes on when temp setting is increased, but heater does not start.

5 There is a 133 deg. C thermal fuse at the top of the heater core that was open. The fuse is in series with a bimetalic thermal switch. Both of these are riveted to the heater, and difficult to replace. To gain access, you need a special screwdriver to remove the 'tamper proof' screws.
