We have a window unit which is four years old. After no being turned on for about 6 weeks due to cooler weather, the fan motor is making an odd noise and of course we turned it right off. Unfortunately I cannot find my paperwork on the unit and do not know the model - is there somewhere on the unit where we can find it? We want to check on replacing the fan motor and maybe just replacing the unit if it is cost effective.
