0 I have the very same problem, though sometimes my digital readout will be in the 40s. This unit worked fine with heavy seasonal use for almost three years. Any help would be appreciated.

0 I took it apart and cleaned mine; worked for a couple weeks and now it shuts off and does nothing!

0 I have removed the fan cover with the foam rubber filter/insert from the back, and the unit seems to work without the thermostat erroneously reading in the 40s and 50s. Not the greatest fix I know, and have no explanation mechanically why it worked, but the unit does operate now.

0 I called Bionaire; they didn't help me fix it or even tell me what the problems meant, I was however still in warranty and the replaced it!

0 The old one was the 3620, I believe. The new one is the 3699!
