I am unable to get my needle to move up and down by pressing the foot pedal. I was able to wind the bobbin using the foot peddle, but after placing the bobbin in the machine (and switching the bobbin winder engaging lever back to the right) nothing happens when the foot peddle is pressed. It seems like I must be missing something obvious. Any suggestions?
