I have a V1 AFG Beckett burner and I need to press the reset button twice to get it going ofr about 20 minutes. The first time I press the reset it quickly shuts down after only 15-20 Seconds. I then press again, and this time it stays on for about 20 minutes, and usually shuts down before reaching the temperature called for on thermostat. What is preventing it from turning on automatically? I've cleaned electrodes, replaced nozzle and filter, bled the unit..but can't get past this...any ideas what could be preventing startup?

0 I found the problem and have resolved it. I found that the burner pulls fuel and somewhere in the line there is an air leak..I opened the line to blow out the line of sludge with a CO2 capsule..in doing so, I did not completely close the fitting, and thus air entered into the line and this caused the shut off. Your system will shut down if it goes on for too long...so, look for an air leak in the line..make sure all fittings are tight then you will be able to re-start your system. Remember: you must bleed the line before the thing will start after you have cleared the air in the line.
