Question About Beckett Burner AFG Oil Burner
burner does not start...

Burner will run fine for a day or two then will not start. green light will flash, push red button and burner starts and runs fOR a DAY OR TWO THEN STOPS.

2 If the fuel tank is a distance from the furnace, you may have air entering the line, most likly at the fuel tank filter. The likly cause is a clogged fuel nozzle ,due to a clogged fuel micron filter which is located on the furnace. just follow the fuel line to the furnace that little round housing holds the Micron filter. Make sure you have the manual, and common sense to due this work, example ? shut main electrical switch off ,turn the valve to closed position????, have a catch bucket tools ect. hope this helped

0 I am taking care of my friends home in CT with low temps. The house froze once now and main floor breaks have been fixed. But the furnace will not continue to start after a while.
