I have an Avanti by Avalon stove. I am having a problem keeping a fire going. After igniting the pilot and turning on the stove, it will flame up for about 30 sec., at full power, then just go completely out... Every so often, it works fine though... I've tried adjusting the flame size with the vent control, and re-igniting the pilot, but it always goes out after about 30 seconds.... any tips???

0 Our Avanti has the same problem. After several stove 'experts' failed to figure this out, a young guy determined that the fan control was shorting out. It would run until the thermostat called for the fan, then short-out and stop. After replacingthe fan control, it was OK, but has now started again (after several years). I am now looking for the part to replace again. Hope that helps.
