replaced batteries and everything is flashing. i cant set temp. for heat

3 thermostat not working: "Heat" is flashing and can't re-set. I can replace battery, but shouldnt it tell me to? This thermostat is only 6 onths old

3 i just replaced batteries and the light on the display is blank and I cannot program or do anything
