I have the same problem. When I manually lower the temperature, the 'cool' message continues to blink - and this goes on for hours. Why? I have two of the same thermostats, one for the upstairs unit and one for downstairs. I only have problems with the upstairs unit. What does the blinking 'cool' message mean?
