Aprilaire 8600 installed. The old thermostat when called for AC blower came on fast. With the 8600 ONLY on AC the blower on the furnace comes on slow for a sec then speeds up to normal. When used with just heat or fan on, the blower comes on at fast speed. It is a one speed furnace and a one speed ac unit, Rheem and Heil furnace. Could the slow start for the sec be part of the Aprilaire 8600 compressor protection?
