Question About A.O. Smith Water Heater 101 Series
problem with hot water heater...

The pilot keeps going out. I will light it, water gets hot then the pilot may or maynot go out, if it does not go out right away it will after a couple of times it heats the water.

0 I am going to replace the pilot assembly. Hopefully it works! Pilot always going out! Constantly lighting it!

0 Pilot goes out after the water temp has come up, burner goes out and pilot dies. Plumber replaced burner assembly. No fix. Guilford Supply to get Smith to warranty GCV. Smith unwilling. We'll see. The unit was installed on Feb. 23rd, 2006. Well within warranty. The message I'm getting through reliable sources is that A O Smith doesn't like to honor the warranty that comes with their products. Any help out there? Sorta stuck in Raleigh, NC Thanks Ben
