I just changed my thermocouple because pilot would not stay lit after water warmed up. The old thermo couple had a resistor of some sorts on it but the new one that i bought (Which is a univeral one) does not. Now the pilot stays lit but the burner will not light. Could this resistor have anything to do with this problem or any other suggestions please let me know. Thank You! I am missing the Super Bowl because of this UUGGHHH!!!!!!!
