our air conditioner is brand new and is set on coo...

our air conditioner is brand new and is set on cool with a desired temperature of 74 degrees. The temperature on the emerson thermostat continues to read 78 degrees and System + 2 is listed. The other air conditioner is working properly and doesn't have the System + 2.
