Amana ACEX186E unit stopped cooling, fan kept blow...

Amana ACEX186E unit stopped cooling, fan kept blowing and control display went out. Had to use reset button on cord to turn off unit. After a few minutes, reconnected cord, started unit and display, cooled OK, but then control display goes out, not cooling and fan keeps blowing. What can cause this?
