5 go from thread to hook on the back of machine right at the top left, then down the back if the tension and in between the 2 round plates on the tension , then into the eye of the lever that bobs up and down , then behind the hook on the body then through the hole in the wire just above the needle , then through the needle from the left to right Hope that makes sense Margaret xx
