Admiral aaw-15cr1fhue control panel is frozen. I plug it in and it beeps, temp says 66 and the plug icon is highlighted. I try to turn off the power adjust temperature change mode but nothing happens. It's just frozen and unresponsive

5 It occurs to nearly all A/C that it beeps and indicate a false temperature when the thermostat is bad. The system is no more on control, and could result to any form of hazard when trying to act on its indication. The solution is to unplug same form the socket in order to forestall electric shock hazard. And then get the service of a A/C technician to properly diagnose and act accordingly. Let him replace the thermostat to start with solving the matter.
