Product Problem: Only works when shaken

Wasn't even a month old an it stopped working. It would spark to life when shaken so that got me thinking a loose wire. I took the top off to look inside an found a something that has 2 wires hooked to it that was causing it to not work. One wire leading out was visible burnt but when moved the microwave would power up, I think its a diode, 2 screws holing it in place an a part #KSD1 180. Not sure where to find a placement part but am looking. Also it would be nice to know why this happened on such a new micowave.

Thank you for your response, I checked several repair shops but have been unable to find a replacement part. I however have not tried contacting Emerson yet I was hoping to find something locale or online. Would that be something you could help me with?

It's not so much as a problem more of.. the clock didn't come with a manual.. how unfortunate for me.. Anyways.. for the buzzer alarm clock I noticed it's really quiet and gradually gets louder...but it doesn't sound very loud once it gets there.. Can you make it louder... somehow?.. or does it have a different buzzer sound.. or something.. if not oh, well at least it sets itself.
