Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Solution
Burners will not light LP gas bottle is empty Replace with full gas bottle
using the ignition
system
Faulty regulator Have regulator checked or replace
Obstructions in burners Clean burners
Obstructions in gas jets Clean jets and gas hose
or gas hose
Electrode or pushbutton Reconnect wire
Ignition wire is loose
or disconnected
Electrode or wire is damaged Change electrode and wire
Incorrect electrode gap/ The gas collector box around the electrode
Bent collector box needs to be in line with the burners with a
gap of 3 to 4mm between the end of the
electrode and the tag on the bottom of the
collector box. Realign the collector box as
required.
Flat battery in ignition assembly Replace battery
Poor connection of battery in Ensure battery is firmly
Ignition assembly. Pushed onto connectors.
