BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Remove lens housing by turning counter-clockwise.
2. Remove the lamp module.
3. Remove used batteries and replace with fresh
batteries + end up.
4. Replace the lamp module.
5. Replace lens housing squarely on threads and turn
clockwise while slightly pressing on the lens housing.
ON/OFF
Turn the lens housing clockwise until light activates. To turn
light off, back lens housing off counter-clockwise until light goes
off. Continue to BACK OFF FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 FULL
TURN TO ELIMINATE POSSIBILITY OF LIGHT ACTIVATING
ACCIDENTALLY IN STORAGE. Do not overtighten.
LAMP REPLACEMENT
To replace the lamp module follow steps in the battery installation
section as listed above:
To remove lamp module follow steps #1 and #2.
To replace lamp module follow steps #4 and #5.
CAUTION:
If light is not to be used for some time, remove batteries to prevent
possible leakage and corrosion.
LENS DISC INSTALLATION
The colored discs are designed to enable the flashlight to be used
without affecting night vision. The discs fit inside the flashlight in
between the lamp module and the inside of the clear lens cover.
To Install:
1. Remove the lens cover.
2. Place the colored disc inside the lens cover.
3. Refit the lens cover.
HYDROGEN GAS ABSORBER
Internal catalyst pellets, located on the lamp, are there to help
absorb hydrogen gas that could possibly be emitted by defective,
leaking, reversed polarity or heavily discharged batteries. If the
pellets become lost or damaged, replace lamp immediately.
If pellets become wet, let them air dry. Pelican Products assumes
no liability for any brand of batteries which are defective or cause
injury to anyone when used in any Pelican flashlight.

Most battery issues arise from improper handling of batteries,
and particularly from the use of damaged or counterfeit batteries.
Please review the information below to avoid serious injury and/or
damage to your property.
Alkaline Batteries
1. For those lights with hazardous location safety approvals for
explosive environments please be advised that the safety
approval is only valid for the specified battery type manufacturer
and, where applicable, brand names that are displayed on the
flashlight and/or instructions sheets that are supplied with the
light. The use of other battery technologies may reduce the
performance of the flashlight and will invalidate the safety
approval.
2. Always read the battery manufacturers recommendations
for the appropriate use of the battery technology/brand prior
to using the flashlight.
3. When replacing the batteries:
a. Replace all the batteries at the same time.
b. Do not mix battery brands and old and new batteries.
c. Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity
(+ and -) marked on the battery and equipment.
4. Do not change batteries in a hazardous location.
5. Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for an
extended period of time.

Pelican Products, Inc. guarantees its lights for a lifetime against breakage or
defects in workmanship. This guarantee does not cover the lamp or
batteries. All warranty claims of any nature are barred if the product has
been altered, damaged or in any way physically changed, or subjected
to abuse, misuse, negligence or accident. For complete warranty details,

In Australia: The benets provided to you under this warranty are in
addition to your rights and remedies as a consumer under the
Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Nothing in this warranty limits
the rights or obligations of a party under provisions of the Competition and
Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) in relation to the supply to consumers of goods
which cannot be limited, modied or excluded. If applicable, our goods
come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major
failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if
the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount
to a major failure. If you are not a consumer under the Competition and
Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), then your rights may be limited. To make

number from Pelican Customer Service prior to returning any product, and is
responsible for paying for all warranty freight costs. If Pelican
determines that any returned product is not defective, within the terms of this
warranty, the purchaser shall pay Pelican all costs of handling, return
freight and repairs at Pelican’s prevailing rates. In the event that Pelican
determines that any returned product is defective, within the terms of
this warranty, Pelican shall pay the purchaser all reasonable costs of the
purchaser in making claim under this warranty.
Lifetime Guarantee does not cover Roto Molded cases, AALG products

La garantie à vie ne couvre pas les valises rotomoulées, les produits
