PLEASE READ!
VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before disassembling any part of the M10 flashlight,
ensure that the flashlight has not been operating for
five (5) minutes prior to replacing the lamp module.
During operation, the lamp module can become ex-
tremely hot and may cause injury if touched.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Remove the end cap by turning counter-clockwise.
2. Remove used batteries and replace with fresh
batteries as shown by the polarity sticker.
3. To replace the end cap place end cap squarely on threads
and turn clockwise while pressing on the end cap slightly.
ON/OFF
1. For MOMENTARY operation gently press down on
the rubber switch cover of the flashlight and the M10 will
operate until pressure is released.
2. For CONTINUAL operation press firmly down on the
rubber switch cover until a “click” is heard and release .
To turn off press down on the switch cover again until
a “click” is heard and release.
LAMP REPLACEMENT
1. Allow flashlight to remain off for 5 minutes prior to
lamp replacement.
2. Unscrew the lens assembly.
3. Remove the lamp module and replace with a
new lamp module.
4. Replace the lens cover assembly.
HYDROGEN GAS ABSORBER
Internal catalyst pellets, located on the lamp, are there to
help absorb hydrogen gas that could possibly be emitted
by defective, leaking, reversed polarity or heavily discharged
batteries. If the pellets become lost or damaged, replace lamp
immediately. If pellets become wet, let them air dry or replace.
Pelican Products assumes no liability for any brand batteries
which are defective or cause injury to anyone when used in any
Pelican flashlight.
Do not mix battery brands or use Nicad or Zinc Carbon
batteries or old/new batteries.

O-RING MAINTENANCE
Check closely for cuts, scratches, or otherwise damaged
O-ring or mating lens lip surface. Remove any dirt or foreign
matter from O-ring sealing surfaces. Keep threads, O-ring
groove and inside lip of lens lubricated with silicone grease.

retailer does not stock the above accessory parts, you may or-
der them directly from Pelican Products. Send check or money
order in U.S. dollars, or order by phone using MasterCard or
VISA (ask for Customer Service). SORRY, NO C.O.D.’s. Subject

product. This guarantee is void if the Pelican product has been abused beyond normal
and sensible use. This guarantee does not cover shark bite, bear attack or damage
caused by children under five.
