The Pelican Products L1 1930 LED is a close-
quarter use flashlight designed to provide the
user with extended battery and lamp life over
traditional incandescent flashlights.
Operation
Pressing the rubber button on the rear of the
flashlight turns on the L1 1930 LED flashlight.
To turn off the flashlight, simply press the but-
ton again.
Battery Replacement
The L1 1930 LED flashlight uses four LR44
1.5V alkaline coin cells.
To replace the batteries:
1. Unscrew the Lens Cover Assembly and
remove the LED/Battery Tray assembly.
2. Remove the used batteries and replace the
cells as per the decal located in the battery
tray (i.e. positive end closest to the switch).
3. Carefully slide the LED/Battery tray back
into the body and replace the lens cover
assembly.
LENS DISC INSTALLATION
The colored discs are designed to enable the
flashlight to be used without affecting night
vision. The discs fit inside the flashlight in
between the reflector and the lens cover.
To Install:
1. Remove the lens cover and reflector.
2. Remove the clear disc and replace with the
desired color disc inside the lens cover.
3. Refit the reflector and lens cover.
LED Lamp Replacement
The L1 1930 LED lamp is non-replaceable
as it has been designed to provide upwards
of 10,000 hours of usage. If you experience
a problem with the LED, please return the
flashlight for repair under Pelican Products
warranty program.
O RING MAINTENANCE
Check closely for cuts, scratches, or otherwise
damaged O-ring or mating lens lip surface.
Remove any dirt or foreign matter from O-ring
sealing surfaces. Keep threads, O-ring groove
and inside lip of lens lubricated with silicone
grease. See Warranty information for replace-
ment of O-ring.

Pelican Products, Inc. guarantees its products for a lifetime against
breakage or defects in workmanship. This guarantee does not cover
the lamp or batteries (rechargeable or alkaline). Any liability, either
expressed or implied, is limited to replacement of the product. This
guarantee is void if the Pelican product has been abused beyond
normal and sensible use. This guarantee does not cover shark bite,
bear attack or damage caused by children under five.
Lifetime Guarantee does not cover Roto Molded or AALG

d’un usage excessif en dehors de l’usure et de la déchirure normales
et raisonnables. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les morsures de requin,
les attaques d’ours ni les dommages causés par des enfants de moins
de 5 ans.

WARRANTY RETURN POLICY
Send all items for repair or replacement directly to Pelican Products
Customer Service Department (postage paid). Please call for a return
authorization number. Per our guarantee, Pelican Products will replace
or repair any broken or defective products. Upon receipt of goods,
Pelican Products will notify you of any handling and return postage
charges. If your local retailer does not stock the above accessory parts,
you may order them directly from Pelican Products. Send check or
money order in U.S. dollars, or order by phone using MasterCard or
VISA (ask for Customer Service). SORRY, NO C.O.D.’s. Subject to
sales tax. Allow 2-3 weeks delivery time. Pelican Products pays postage
and handling charges. POSTAGE PAID FOR U.S. ZIP CODES ONLY.
