BEFORE USE
Find a suitable location close to a mains outlet and a window or
external door.
Fit the exhaust hose to the air conditioner and the adjustable
fittings to the window.
Plug into a mains socket (220-240V ~50Hz)
Ensure that the water tank is positioned correctly, or the air
conditioner will not start.
To start, press the “I/O” button (on/off)
The dehumidifier function operates in the range 10 C° - 30 C°
The cooling function operates in the range 17 C° - 30 C°
If the cooler or dehumidifier has been switched off and then
switched on again, it may take up to 3 minutes for the air
conditioner to start up again.
Cooler function:
Press the “MODE” button repeatedly until the operating panel
displays “COOL”. Press “arrow up” or “arrow down” to select
the desired room temperature. Press “FAN” to obtain the
desired blower speed.
Dehumidifier function:
Press the “MODE” button repeatedly until the operating panel
displays “DRY”.
The blower will run at a fixed speed on this function.
Blower function:
Press the “MODE” button repeatedly until the operating panel
displays “FAN”. Press “FAN” to obtain the desired speed.
The hose does not need to be fed out of the window.
Heat function:
Press the “MODE” button repeatedly until the “HEAT”
indicator comes on. Set the desired temperature by pressing the
up and down arrow buttons. Press “FAN SPEED” to set the
blower speed.
Timer function
Setting the timer:
Press the “TIMER ON” button while the air conditioner is
switched off. Select the time you want it to start. “ON” will appear
on the display. The time can be set between 0.00 and 23.50.
Setting the timer to OFF:
Press the “TIMER OFF” button while the air conditioner is
switched on. Select the time when you want it to go off. “OFF” will
appear on the display. The time can be set between 0.00 and
23.50.
Drainage from the water tank:
Connect the drainage hose prior to use (8 in illustration page 2).
When the water reaches a pre-determined level, the drainage
pump will be activated and will empty the water out via the
drainage hose. The maximum height the pump can cope with is
3.5 metres.
If the drainage hose is sealed or if the pump is not functioning, the
water tank will fill up. The message "P1" will then appear on the
device’s display panel and the device will stop automatically. Move
the device carefully to a place with a sink. Empty the tank by
removing the rubber stopper from the pipe (13 in illustration page
2). Once the tank is empty the device will function again.
