Thermal ROR Detector 55000-480
The Thermal ROR Detector 55000-480 (fi g. A) reacts
to temperature changes within defi ned periods of time,
up to a maximum temperature of 57°C. The intelligent
evaluation of these data allows the early detection of
spreading fi res.
The detector is designed as combined maximum/rate-
of-rise heat detector of Class A1R and can be used up
to a room height of 7.5m. The detector indicates the
alarm by means of an LED.
The sealed electronics ensures optimum protection
against false alarms activated through environmen-
tal impact. Furthermore, the extremely low quiescent
current ensures a long life of the two batteries in the
detector base.
Optical Smoke Detector 55000-680
The Optical Smoke Detector 55000-680 (fi g. B) uses
the scattered light principle and was developed for the
detection of smoke particles in a wide range of fi re de-
tection applications. The modern design of the sensing
chamber allows to reliably evaluate the characteristics
of fi re.
The detector indicates the alarm by means of an LED.
Sealed electronics and an insect screen ensure opti-
mum protection against false alarms activated through
environmental impact. Furthermore, the extremely low
quiescent current ensures a long life of the two batte-
ries in the detector base.
