4.4 Setting up the data connections
Printer (optional)
• Lift off the instrument console flap (12).
• Connect the printer to the printer port (7) via
a standard Centronics cable (refer Fig. 6).
Other connections
• For additional data transfer and storage the
instrument console is equipped with a stan-
dard 1.44 MB floppy drive (10) for 3.5“ dis-
kettes and with an RS 232 serial port (11) .
Only instruments which satisfy the re-
quirements for SELV circuits may be
connected to interfaces (7), (8), (9)
and (11).
