Recovery Catalog (Oracle specific
term)
A set of Oracle tables and views that are
used by Recovery Manager to store
information about Oracle databases.

• Data file copies
• Archived Redo Logs

RecoveryInfo
When backing up Windows

information is needed for disaster
recovery.
Recovery Manager (RMAN) (Oracle
specific term)
An Oracle command-line interface that
directs an Oracle Server process to back
