the compartment.
Shut the battery compartment door.

UsIng the lUggage scale
Before placing an item to be weighed on the scale, hang it from a
secure point with the hook used for weighing items on the bottom.
Press the POWER button to turn on. The screen will read “0.00”
to show you it’s ready to weigh an item.
Press the LBS/KGS button to choose pound, ounce, kilogram or gram.
Hang an item gently on the scale or in a container. Do not touch the
item or the scale itself while weighing, as this may produce an
inaccurate measurement.
When the item is steady and the weight is consistent, the unit will read
“HOLD” in the lower left hand corner, and the weight of your item will
lock in.
If the LCD screen reads “Err” you may have gone over the weight
capacity for the scale. Please remove items promptly if “Err”
is shown.
Press CLEAR to weigh another item. Press POWER to turn scale
off or the scale will power off automatically after 90 seconds.
Note: When you use a container to weigh an item, be sure to weigh
it by itself first, followed by pressing the CLEAR button to reset the
scale to “0.00”.
