GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Atlas-Sound CFT-125 thermostat provides ventilation control of
fans or other cooling equipment. The unit will automatically shut off
fans when they are not needed. This cost-savings feature results in
longer fan life, fewer filter changes, and reduced electrical usage.
The CFT-125 fan thermostat includes a special 3-wire extension cord
with series plug for automatic operation. It is also equipped with a wire
hanger and keyhole mounting slots for versatile and easy installation.

INSTALLATION
1. Locate the thermostat to obtain the best temperature control.
2. DO NOT hang or mount the thermostat near or directly behind
cooling devices in the cabinet as this will cause the system to shut off
before the desired temperature is reached.
OPERATION
1. Plug the thermostat into an outlet of the proper voltage for the
cooling equipment.
2. Plug the fan cord into the receptacle in the thermostat's plug.
3. Turn thermostat knob toward the "cooler" position (counterclockwise)
until the cooling equipment starts.
4. WARNING: When used with the thermostat, the fan may start at
any time. Always unplug equipment and thermostat when not in use.
5. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment has a polarized
plug (One blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polar-
ized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to
install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
