PLEASE READ FIRST
Finding the ideal location for your
unit: Do not place the humidier
directly next to a heating or air vent.
Remove all cardboard pieces from
the disc pack.
The unit should be placed on a dry,
level surface. Keep it away from
walls, doors or windows.
The unit should not be placed too
close to plants or other objects.
Keep a distance of at least 20 in-
ches (50cm).
Place the Ionic Silver Stick in the
water base of the unit.
Take o the water tank cap to ll
the tank with water.
Fill the tank with clean, cold water
from the tap.
Close the cap of the water tank
securely, place the water tank onto
the base. The water is now running
from the tank into the base. The
red empty indicator light may stay
illuminated for some seconds until
the base is lled with water.
Do not pour water directly into the
appliance. Use the water tank only.
FILL THE TANK WITH FRESH COLD WATER
Insert the plug into the socket and
switch on the appliance using
the on/o switch. The blue light
comes on.

month on the stamp and write the current
year on the line provided.
Water Quality Maintenance
The Ionic Silver Stick
®
(ISS) keeps the water free of
microbial growth. The ISS uses the anti-microbial eect
of silver to prevent the growth of microbes in the water
base. It begins to function as soon as it comes into
contact with water, even if the unit is
switched o.
The Ionic Silver Stick should be changed every year.
