Contents
When positioning your OfceConnect Gateway, make sure of the
following:
Unit is out of direct sunlight and away from sources of heat.
Cabling is away from power lines, uorescent lighting xtures,
and sources of electrical noise such as radios, transmitters, and
ampliers.
Water or moisture cannot enter the case of the unit.
Air ow around the unit and through the vents in the side and
back of the case is not restricted. A minimum of 1 in. (2.54 cm)
clearance is recommended.
Using Rubber Feet and Stacking Clip
For desktop use, the four self-adhesive rubber feet
help to stabilize your OfceConnect Gateway and pre-
vent sliding. Attach the feet to the marked areas at
each corner of the underside of your OfceConnect
Gateway.
In addition, the stacking clip provided may be used
for stacking any other OfceConnect units, such as the
OfceConnect Gateway Voice Expansion Unit or
OfceConnect Ethernet hubs and switches, neatly and
securely together. You can stack up to a maximum of
four units. To stack your units, secure the clip as
shown in Figure 1.
