I need a new filter for this model. Can you help?

    I just bought a filter fot his model WA-8D at Wal Mart. The brand is Protec, Model WF2. The box says if you have any questions call Kaz Consumer Relations Dept. at 1-800-477-0457. Does your humidifier actually work? Mine isn't using any water so I think it's not working. Help? Bev.
