  My outside sensor is registering -30degC all the time! The sensor itself checks out OK, I think I have a fault on the main circuit board in the control box. Any spare main control boxes around?

  Now found it IS my outside sensor at fault, but having great difficulty sourcing a replacement locally.
  Clevedonkeith - do you still have one for sale?

  Set all 3 levels of room temperature to something low, say 10degC, then go to the rectanglar black control box, probably mounted in the airing cupboard next to your hot water tank. Remove the cover (1 screw) and inside you'll find the temperature regulator for hot water - just set it to the temperature you need, usually around 50deg C?

  Regret no ext sensor - only the housing however, I do have an immersion sensor that might be compatible. It is rated at 1000ohms @25 deg C - 800 ohms @0 deg C. Clevedonkeith@aol.co.uk

  Would love a copy of the blackbox manual. Have just moved to a house with this system. I have the thermostat instructions but not the other. The hot water system only seems to work with the heating on.

  I have a couple of spare Honeywell strap on sensors -30/115degC. I understand these can also be used to replace external temperature sensors if necessary. They seem to test out OK and I will be putting them on Ebay if anyone is interested.
