Hunter Thermostat 44422

new battery, nothing happening
Posted by judithharlan on Oct 13th, 2008 at 11:24am

Can you help? I just changed the battery in my Hunter 44422 thermostat. I reset, and then tried to input time, etc. None of the buttons work. All the wires appear to be connected, but I cannot make anything change, and so I can't get the heater to go on. Correction: I can get the heater to go on by putting the tab on "heater" but the only way to get it off is by putting the tab back to "off". It's as if the input pad has broken.
Is there a fix for this?

Thank you! for any help you can offer.
