Amana Gas Furnace/ac cooling BMA24F00A

I need help!!
Posted by april.findley on Oct 12th, 2008 at 4:31pm

My heater comes on moreless when it's cranked up to 80, if I adjust the heat before I turn it on it heats up a little bit from 65-75, but mostly runs cool air. My heater doesn't kick off what so ever, and when It gets too hot in my house, I turn off the heater, but it seems the blower still runs, and the only way to shut it off is to throw the breaker, which I know isn't good to keep doing! I am not using my furnace right now and am reduced to using dinky eletric heaters, however it's getting really cold outside, and I don't have a budget to where I can afford to call in a repair person, and I have a 1yr that I need to keep warm, I don't know what is wrong whether it's just my thermostat, or something else!
