3 One of my remotes went bad. I got a replacement online at www.aclickawayremotes.com. The one I got was an Allstar 318 with 3 buttons. It's been working great and is much smaller than the original grey monster. I'm not affiliated with these guys, but have been very happy with the product and their service. My problem now is that my Allister Type IIA just buzzes when I hit the remote. I don't know if the motor is fried or if there is something I can do to fix it.

2 My Allister Type IIA opener stopped working. When either the wall mount or remote was pushed, the light came on, the motor would hum, but garage did not open. I read in another opener manual that the problem might be that the trolley may be jammed into the stop bolts. It recommended "pull or push on door while motor is humming to release the jammed condition". I tried this several times, before I got it to open. I don't know how much I trust my opener going forward, but I fixed the problem for now.

0 We moved into a home that has an Allister IIA. The previous owner gave us the code but we never used it and have forgotten it. I opened both remotes and the motor housing to see the dip switches. They are 1, 2, 3, and 10 on. 4 thru 9 are off. I tried 1-2-3-0 on the keypad but it didn't work. How can I get the code or change it?
