I encountered the same problem with the downloadable manual for this Singer Long Arm. No one appears to have a complete manual. There is a complete manual available for the 145w303, however, which is the 2 needle version of this machine. Except for the two needles the machines are, I believe, nearly identical. The adjustments for the 2 needle machines appear to be what you need for the 144w305.
