    feed dog is in down position

      Check the button on the lower right. If it is depressed the feed dogs drop. You need to un-click it and turn the hand-wheel one revolution. If this does not work it may be full of lint and jammed. There could be other issues that will cause this too.

      my problem is feed dog stuck up on my Viking 2030. The button goes in and out OK, but the feed dogs remain up. I think I can get into the machine from an opening in the bottom, but I don't know exactly what to look for. Thanks.
