Nighthawk Carbon Monoxide Detector 900-0076-00

Please help find the manual for this Nighthawk Carbon Monoxide Detector

When the power goes out the detector starts to beep for a few short beeps and then starts in with a continued beep that doesn't stop. We have changed the battery and it still does it. Please help because it is very loud and annoying.
