I cannot figure out how to make a bobbin on a sin...

I cannot figure out how to make a bobbin on a singer model 6235. I cannot figure out how to disengage the sewing mechanism, or where to put the bobbin to spin the thread onto it. It is totally different from any no machine I have used. Is there an automatic bobbin feature? If so, how do I use it? Thank you!
