It won't sew

When I turn on the machine, it knots up the bobbin and immediately beeps at me. Before I unplugged it to deprogram whatever got in there, it would sew only after I "gunned" it, then would continue to sew after I let up on the foot control - about one stitch every 2 seconds. I can't quilt like that! Apparently I didn't get the screwdriver pictured on page 47 and nothing I have will undo the left screw to clean the bobbin case area.

I had the same problem with model 9125. My husband had to make me a short screwdriver to get into the bobbin case. Once I cleaned it out the machine was fine. Look in the hardware store for a short screwdriver. It also helps if you pull both threads, upper and bobbin, when you start sewing.
