Kidde Smoke Detector ionizing 1275

changning batteries

I am not sure how to change the batteries in the smoke detector. It beeps quite often and when I detached it, I was not sure on how to get the batteries out to change them. I lost the instructions and the beep is getting impossible to endure. If you could help in any way, that would be great! Thank you for your time.
