Please help find the manual for this Culligan Water Softener

Wile replacing copper Pipe (incoming), heated bypass,
-we did take out plastic bypass plunger/control
leaking now, see picture, leaking where pencil is pointing

culligan water softner

I had a repair man come to the house to service my water softner. I don't think he fixed the softner. my water is starting to smell bad, like it did before It was installed. What is the problem? Can I fix the problem without having to pay another $300.00 I don't have?
