Question About Bissell Carpet Cleaner 8960
need advise on machine use to suck up dirty water...

It will not suck up the water- am I using the machine correctly? I purchased this model only a couple months ago and tried it and was unable to get it to suck up the water- my daugter tried to use it and got the same results- I need instructions on how to get it to suck up the water or do I have a defective machine
